This was by far the most spontaneous concert we have organised so far. Koji (MSBR) asked 2 ½ weeks before, wether we are interested in organising MSBR & PDM. It was too short notice to organise a decent venue / club for this show - so we initially thought about organising this event outside in a park (yeah! open air noise!!). Weather conditions where pretty unsafe so we where happy that we found a small gallery to let this happen. 4pm... teatime... about 20 visitors showed up and refreshed themselves with coffee, cookies and excellent noise. Koji's set was very intense, and PDM gave a very funny noise camp musical comedy, which was quite limited due to the small gallery room.
First noise show in the afternoon hours for us, but it was a pleasant change...

MSBR biography

MSBR started as an art project in 1989 doing activities such as sound installations, sculpture and paintings in contemporary art areas.
Members are Koji Tano and Nagako Takechi.
1st LP "ULTIMATE AMBIENCE" was released from MSBR's label MSBR records in 1991.

MSBR's sound is mainly harsh noise electronics using some effects/synth but sometimes has a more atmospheric, electro-acoustic sound by using field recording material.
And MSBR is collaborating with several artists in recent years, like Daniel Menche, Speculum Fight, Crawl Unit, Blazen Y Sharp and others.
A collaboration with Kengo Iuchi (Japanese acid death folk singer) was done live in Tokyo while opening for SONIC YOUTH.  A CD from this performance was recently released on Alien8 recordings in Canada.
In this tour, MSBR will perform as K.Tano and H.Sakai.
